Affiliation to the WPSAA

Inter club competitions are great for any club as it engenders and fosters a spirit of cameraderie, friendship and skills development whilst maintaining a significant element of competitive drive and fervour. As it is difficult to co-ordinate the rosters of different club's rosters to facilitate this process amongst clubs we do not have direct contact with, affiliation of the WP Shore Angling Association let us achieve this objective and much more.

We are an active and proud affiliated member of the WPSSA and are actively engaged in a multi-club competition at least once a month that will make us a much improved club going forward.

Affiliation to the WPSSA has generated a new vigour amongst our existing and newer members and we are looking forward with great enthusiasm and a little trepidition. The WPSAA has already spent a huge amount of time and effort in both theoretical courses and practical sessions to increase the technical aspects to enhance our angling.

Individual mentorship has also assisted key anglers in our club to become more technically proficient and by implication able to convey this knowledge to other members in our club.
